OSO ad in Powerboat Mag.

No...you get access to the best source of information for our outrageously expensive sport. The ability to access goods, services, and make new friends is worth whatever fee it cost to belong to this site.

If you'll notice, powerboat is an OSO advertiser. I wouldn't worry too much about your membership dollars going towards advertising, since it doesn't appear that you've paid any.
In any event, as Indy stated, it's worth every penny and more.

If I were to guess..............
In the marketing world there is such a thing to "Ad Trading".
I.E. - Powerboat gets their logo on OSO all year and OSO gets a full page ad in 1 issue of Powerboat.
Both venues = similar dollar expense.
So - I would not worry about Steve spending your $$
Companies do it all the time!
