I thought I remembered your name come up for a vote. I looked and the vote (contains the info you applied with) and it seems that you didn't mention you were part of any sanctioning body (voting wise). You we're not approved. 3 people commented, one of them suggested you were involved in tunnel boats.

I'm sure you'll be approved if you meet the criteria as stated on the webpage. "Active offshore racer means that all Wetpits subscribers must be actively involved in offshore racing. Whatever your club or sanctioning body - your choice! Whatever function you may have - throttles, driver, navigator, rescue team, paceboat driver".

Let me know if I can help.

Mark
Mark,

I'm a participating Crew member of APBA currently in the OPC category, I sent an application to APBA Detroit for an Offshore membership and was told I had to go through ST. Pete and was in the market to offer my services to any offshore team that could use another person in the pits, but since they went private I have made other plans as have others that had shown some interest. In the application process there isn't a place for comments and no way to contact the webmaster on the front page. Please tell me what being on the rescue team or paceboat driver has to do with the discussion of engines or equipment the classes want to run or the rules they want to run under, that any other person or volenteer involved in Offshore doesn't.

Based on your statement above I DO qualify. I am and have been an active member of the NJPPC which works with various sanctioning bodies in promoting, producing and organizing races in the northeast.
