I saw the race on tv,and got my new Powerboat mag.That was pretty scary looking and I'm glad nobody was hurt.I'm just a spectator and don't know the rules,but it seems to me there could be a better way to caution the field than the way they are doing it.It just seems pretty dangerous.

OK enough of the bashing. I agree that a look into the procedure of an accident needs an overhaul. We came into the turn and only noticed Matt Rice on top of his boat frantically waving both arms telling the racers to go wide around him. I would have liked to see an additional boat waving a yellow flag before we reached the turn in question, thus warning us of a potentially dangerous situation. We assumed that everything was off of the course when we were coming down between 6 and 1 on the second lap. Boy were we suprised seeing Matt on the bow of Utz. Roger
