Question HELP!!! Looking for a machine shop in Fort Lauderdale area

OK,

Heres the deal, I need a set of small block heads rebuilt, pretty much stock with the exception of some stronger springs for a mildly larger cam. I am relatively new to the area, well, 18 months, but have not had to do anything like this yet, so I have never had to find one. Any help would be appreciated. Also, if anyone knows what this goes for around the area, I have always had buddies to it for me for almost nothin back Home. If the cost is going to be too much, I may just hunt down a Vortec Intake, and go that route. This is an older boat, that is going to be sold soon, so I dont want to invest a ton, but might as well do them while they are off.

Thanks,

Rick

Thanks Open,

Anyone else, I would rather just take them somewhere local rather than shipping them. I can drop off anywhere from West Palm to Miami.

Thanks,

Rick

For just general head work, go to Terrill motors off of Sunrise. We use them a bunch (primarily diesel work) and their work has been great. If you want hipo work, they may not be your best choice, I do not know.

Nah, nuttin much, just want to make sure this frikken thing dont break again anytime soon, at least not before selling it!!!!

I have the exhaust off, as you know, I am just thinking of doing a little freshening up before screwing it back together.
