Only cat i've ever personally seen flip was the Cat Can Do boat in Regiville, North Carolina during the Kilo run up there many years ago. It was pretty violent but nobody got hurt, it looked like it was in slow motion.

Going over 100 MPH in a V bottom you have to constantly be working the steering wheel because of the chime walk and if you fall off the pad you never know what could happen.

Going over 100 MPH in a Cat is relaxing! h

Personally I'd rather be in a Cat all day long.

ME TOO!!!! Thanks Mike

We were there the day this Motion Cat with 4 300x's rolled at Lake Pleasant. He was only running around a 100 when the starboard rear of the boat delaminated, let water rush in, basically causing the boat to hook and roll. No one was killed but one of the girls in it had broken here leg pretty badly. I never heard what became of the boat or if they ever sued Motion. I know Kachina Boats painted the boat here in town and it sat down there for ever after the accident. Its the only boat that I've ever seen delaminate, the whole rear side of it was gone. Deffinantly not driver error.............

I have never felt comfortable in cats at high speeds. I have been in cats over 150 and v's over 120-130. V's feel better to me. The cats always feel like they are never "hooked up". The "sideways float" is odd.
