Anyone have the dates for this years 04' shootout?

We're gonna shoot (pardon the pun) for staying at the Ledges that week. Hope it works out.

Ledges is nice SummerO. That's where we (Cord, myself, Buck183, several others) stay at the lake.

I'll be there for the shootout. Probably (at least I hope) won't have a boat by then, so I'll be bumming rides!!! I'm an excellent rope monkey.... and throttle man!! :D

Better plan for Friday too, for the
run to Big Dicks.

Each year someone schedules a race on the same weekend as the Ozarks Shootout. They did it two years ago in Texas and lost boats to the Shootout, but claimed it didn't hurt them. Then again last year, claimed they wouldn't lose any boats to the shootout because it was a "small amature event". Afterwards they agreed they lost a few boats, (including their top two crowd pleasers) and some press.
So, what do they do????

They schedule SARASOTA on the same freaking weekend...

Man that sucks! Would have been nice to get together again. Key West seems like along time ago. Then again, my brain was a bit fuzzy.;) ;)
