The outerlimits press release states: averaged 161.29 MPH for a kilometer verified on
> "state of the art" GPS in his new 47' canopied model named, "XXX". and

- This run was
> confirmed by co-pilot, Billy Frenz, Executive Director of the NPBA.

It says nothing about anyone outside the boat timing them or witnessing the event? .

According to their own press release, two guys went out in a boat and saw 161 mph on their gps and are now claiming they own a new world record.

Show me what facts I have twisted.

EXACTLY Chris - Using the OL method, ANYONE could go out in their boat and CLAIM to have set a new world record. If you want to believe them, fine. But most people want more proof. Especially when someone is claiming a new world record.

I'm not saying they didn't run that speed, but geez, offer some credible proof that you did it before making such an important claim.

these are a couple of examples. but then i'd be willing to bet you still don't get it. you really ought to think about it. oh "it" being what you wrote. its really tiring to have to spell everything out for you.

like i already said, i'm not going to expel anymore effort on it. you're going to read into it what ever you want apparently. it just doesn't have anything to do with the truth. knock yourself out.

Yeah.....the only speed I'm gonna be worried about tomorrow or the following days is how fast the bar tender is with getting our drinks to the table while sitting on the sidewalk at the Cleavlander!!!!

Sanctioned or not, I want them to haul ass to the table! Oh....and what was the frufru drink that had the 151 rum floater on top?

The Miami Show should be fascinating. . . . how close together are the Fountain and Outerlimits displays?

Will Reggie and Mike be having a beer together? Sharing an ice-cream soda with two straws like 'Lady and the Tramp'?. . . talking marketing strategy and the advancement of the sport? . . . giving each other 'noogies'? . . . this should be REAL interesting.

>oh and one more thing......OL does have credible proof. if they didn't mike would not have made the public statements he did. you keep missing that part. hmmmm.>

If there is other proof, somebody show it already - or is the public just suppose to "have faith" that they really did it?
