Bubba and I just bumped the record up to 167MPH!!!

This is sooo much easier without all those meddlesome officials demanding that you meet those cumbersome standards and verifying that you actually set an official record.

Someone should have thought about this approach a long time ago - if they had, the V Bottom record would be in excess of 300MPH by now.

to you and bubba....

do you pitch or catch? you were bumpin' what? oops, sorry i got confused as to what this was about.

as i was saying...

"Show me what facts I have twisted." (as you stated)

the answer is...........you conveniently left out the beginning of the first line that you keep quoting (you know...the first line of the press release). the parts that you keep deleting is where it clearly states (at least for for the rest of us) that it was a "certified and sanctioned" run.

ok, now i trust that you will go back to your cry baby tactics. your volley.........

Certified and sanctioned by whom? NPA certified the run? Do the normally sanction races and kilo runs? Other than the GPS what credible timing equipment was used.

"certified and sanctioned" by the co-pilot using an on-board GPS system. You can't expect anyone who knows anything about setting world records to accept that BS. Hell, if that's the case then Bubba will gladly certify my 167MPH run.

I stand by what "their" press release says: According to it, no one outside of that boat is in any position to back up their claims; also, accoriding to that press release- they have no other device than their own on-board gps on which to base their claim.

Again, if that's all they have to back their claim of a new world recored, then I say it's a bush-league BS stunt and I never expected someone with the reputation of Outerlimits to try and pull this.

not rip'n on you for the comment chris. just thought i would toss my .02 cents in the fray

rude, tasteless and has nothing to do with the topic that we are discussing.
