craig, did you have to mount an external antenna for the 182c, if so where?

Brought the boat home today for a few days. Charged up the batteries, changed outdrive fluid, and finished up the fresh water system redo!!

Yes I do have to, but I haven't yet. I ordered a smaller antenna than what came with the 182C (GA-26) and I'm going to mount it on a flat spot on the left side of the helm. I will have to modify the upholstered trim that is screwed-in above the helm so it fits.

Just got the photo of my Lexan panel that will cover the hole left by removing the Loran system. Vincent Custom Paint (who painted the boat) in LOTO did them. I think they turned out very nice.
I got him to do two of them. One will go on the boat now which includes the name of our boat (OLD SCHOOL) and the other will go on when/if we ever sell it.
