Thanks to all that keep us informed of DRG's progress. (you know who you are...all of ya!!) I'm proud to be a part of this board, sounds corny but it's true.

hey guys, heres the latest,

she is able to open her eyes and nod or shake her head in acknowledgement, all of the drainage tubes are gone, but she still has the tubes going into her chest(via the throat) as a backup just in case. They are talking about excavting her sometime this week so hopefully that will be the next good news. Her daughters are doing great and were really happy to see her the other day. Thanks again to everyone, its a long road ahead for her at this time, but at least she knows now that ya'll are behind her. It just makes her that much stronger!
