I'll be running a 24 Pantera with about 600 hp today and need some prop advice. We have a 27 pitch Mirage plus 3 blade with the ventalator plugs. The boat does cavitate a little getting on plane and was wondering if anyone has experience with these ventilator plugs. What are they there for? What should we expect if we remove them? I know the best way is just to try it both ways but if anyone has done some testing with these, I'd like to hear what you came up with.
