if it's not getting any spark it's the opti or the coil........i have a new msd blaster coil for the lt1... i will sell it to you cheap........first try the coil then go for the opti.....the opti is around 280 new where the coil can be 30........(opti being the lt-1 distributor right infront of the engine )...let me know if your interested in the coil............there are no saftey cut offs on the fbods........and the easiest way to check for fuel is the test port....pull the black cap off and press in the schreider valve also listen for the fuel pump to kick on when u turn the key on,,it should automaticly bring the pressure up to i think 45lbs. then shut off.......

On my lt-1 motor the conection to the optispark was corroded and it had a bed conection there.
Since you backed into a wall didt the engine stop or did you turn it off on the ignition??
I wacked my exhaust on a rock, and the engine died on me because the exhaust pipe was almost flat.
(lt-1 engine is innstalled in my Jeep CJ-7)

Check the Opti-Spark
This parts go bad on these vitnage LT1's
Go to LS1.com and do a search.
My 94 LT1 died on me, the wire from the coil to optispark came loose.
Or check fuel pump.
Get an OBD reader and plug in under dash.

Thing has had more air than a Concorde en route from Ny to Paris, had the speedo buried for over 1/2 hour, been taken off roading a few times, one time had a 65mph head start, countless ebrake slides, backed into a rock, spun twice into a ditch full of water and ice (ditch was 3 feet lower than road, ask Aqua Holic). And that is just when mom is driving.
93k miles (4 years old this week) and only has mechanically been through one serpentine belt, one PS pump, a battery, and a rear main seal.
And you all though V6's were crap.
