LPA

Reggie built 6 cats from MTI's 42 foot mold. He DID sell them. They DID go to market.

The deal just didn't do what Scism hoped, and he pulled the molds back in house. No bad blood, just no more Fountain/Scism cat.

My friend has number 3 or 4 of the 6.

Compare boating safety to aviation safety? Are you serious? Thousands of aviation casualties for 2003? Where are you getting your stats? Try comparing boating miles/deaths vs. aircraft miles/deaths. Your theory holds 'no water'.

Aviation is regulated by the strictest of licensing requirements and Federal laws. Boating is not.
Apples to oranges. Air travel is statistically by far the safest means of travel today.

Compare boats to autos, maybe....... but a lot more people drive cars than boats. Alcohol plays a HUGE part in deaths in both.

People don't want to admit it but that is why ins is so high. Easy solution madatory drive n prop locks and lo-jack on every boat over a certain price.

OH GEE I can't afford this high dollar boat anymore but i owe the bank 300K on it. Damn someone stole my boat. Oh damn someone stole my drive again! I bet more then 1/2 the claims are Bogus

Figures can be made to look how ever you want them to.

Isn't that why they say "figures lie and liars figure"?

LPA, you definitely said one thing that is irrefutable: "you may look like a nerd with one on..."
