The trek from the cove to Carloas an Charlies can get down right NASTY. 2-3' ers' would be no problem, but that is the BUSIEST part of the lake and some of those large cruisers throw off some rather large wakes. They usually just plow water in that area because a lot is going on there. I cant remember how many times I had stuffed the bow in that area. It's not waves, and it's not chop. Extremely confused wake patterns. No rhyme or reason to the water. Just take it one peak at a time.

Joe - I caught on to that. I see you're from Houston and Roby is from Spring - where do you guys normally go boating...Conroe, Clear Lake, San Jac River, Galveston Bay?? That's where we usually go.

I usually do Conroe and Clear Lake. I really wanted to make Travis this weekend but other things are in the way.

I've seen a guy with a 322 in the "skinny dip hole" a couple of times. It seemed like he might have dated one of our friends (Regina) for a short time. Not sure if that's the same guy.

When are y'all arriving in Austin? We should be there early Friday afternoon and C&C's that evening.
