...and this is on my Top 3 list for sure!
you can feel the POWER when you are in this boat...it's super responsive...though I never drove one with steps...I trust it's even better!
...if you gots the dough then OL ought be on your radar screen...heard good things about Sonic...Pantera if you are looking in that size range....A new Scarab if they were still being manufactured...good value I thought...Hustler's get the job done succinctly...and I have talked to a couple Formula owners of 38' and 42' boats...and they are top drawer stuff so I have to believe them as they were good references.
....and if I was in a cave with extra money to burn my second boat would be a Cat....one that "skates"....
....I think you guys have got me "together" with a great Top 3 list...and put things in much better perspective than I had before coming here...I might still wind up buying the boat I was going to buy....but this site is one of the best sources of really great info and feedback...
and thanks to Rags and some of the rest of you..I am ...well let's just say more "seasoned...as you can see below! (and well basted too!)
INGREDIENTS:
3 lb Boneless center-cut leg of Lamb
1/4 tsp Dried crushed thyme
1/4 tsp Pepper
1/2 tsp Finely shredded lemon peel
3 cup Plain yogurt
1 tbsp Lemon juice
1 tbsp Cornstarch
1/2 tsp Dried rosemary
3/4 tsp Beef boullion granules

I looked at a 42 Renegade in Florida last year. 18,500 pounds Triple 900's with #6's and the boat did a whopping 84MPH.
How many 42 renegades were made. I thought there were only 2 or 3 ???
As per my calculations.
A 20,000 lb boat without steps and 2400 HP would not be able to top 90 mph. reguardless of what props (more like 82-84 MPH)
