...fyi..

gasoline weighs 6 lbs/gal x 250 gal tank = 1500 lbs

..water weighs around 8 lbs/gal x 20 gal = 160lbs

...4 guys x ave of 150 lbs = 600 lbs

....equipment anchor..rope..etc...300 lbs...

...so when doing calculations for speed I am adding this to dry weight....total of 2560 lbs...

..interestingly enough if you take a 10,000 lb fast hull design ( say a 42') with a total of 1000 HP it would go 79mph on the speed calculator,,,,add 2600 lbs of extra weight and the same boat now goes 70mph on the speed calculator...

...no big deal..but sometimes I forget to factor this in...added weight is a huge factor obviously

In art, a public declaration or exposition in print of the theories and directions of a movement. The manifestos issued by various individual artists or groups of artists, in the first half of the twentieth century served to reveal their motivations and raisons dāetre and stimulated support for or reactions against them.

...according to the true defination...??

I'd do some more research on that weight theory. I've got a LOT of beer drinking buddies, don't know one that weighs in @ 150lbs. And the whole lot of them dang sure don't average 150 lbs either. I would say more like 200 lbs each.
