G.G. traded Let's Rock in on an '04 Top Gun. I will look for names and phone numbers of places to stay. There are plenty of ramps though.

Grand is where it's at in OK. We've had a house there in the family for over 30 years - directly across from Shangra La.

The lake is over 60 miles long but all the action is in the 10 miles closest to the dam. There are lots of huge houses, boats, partys and very friendly people.

Dripping Springs by day and Ugly's by night.

Lake Eufaula is HUGE. But, ther isn't a lot opf activity there.

HERE'S A PEICE OF TRIVIA FOR YOU. WHAT STATE HAS THE MOST SHORELINE? THAT'S RIGHT IT'S OKLAHOMA. OKLAHOMA HAS MORE SHORELINE THAN ALL OF THE ATLANTIC AND GULF SHORES IN THE US COMBINED!

Been boating Grand since I was 5. Still never tire of it.

You definitely should come for a weekend. WARPARTY36, UN-ORTHO-DOCS, P-OFFSHORE, and I will show you around.

Grew up going to Eufala every weekend. Then kept my cruiser on Grand for 5 years before moving to Austin. Sold the cruiser for a Fountain and now I boat on Travis. Agree with the comments above that Grand is LOTO on a smaller scale. Definitely the place to go boating in OK. Eufala is much more of a family lake IMHO. As said before, all the activity on Grand is at Dripping Springs during the day and Ugly's at night. "Nice" places to stay other than Shangri-La are hard to find due to the lack of any sizable towns in the immediate area; however, if you have a boat with A/C you can usually rent went slips for the weekend at various marinas if you want to and can stay on board. I can give you some marina names if you want. I've only been on Grand about once a year since I moved to Austin, so my opinion may be dated, but the water patrol up there (GRDA) was pretty easy going during the day, but had been known to camp out at night waiting for the offshore boats to leave Ugly's etc. so stay on the lookout if you're boating after dark. Just my .02.
