Yep, going to wait a year or so, perhaps until next spring, but I want to set things into motion soon. Don't want to be stuck trying to sell a boat last minute and also don't want to take a bath on trading-in.

We're looking into a 35 or 38 Cig.

'Fraid not, stormrider...looking for bigger.

But I love Panteras!

It can be very difficult for the buyer. Often the bank won't cut the check without the title, and your bank won't release the title without having the loan payed off.

Bingo! That's what I'm afraid of.

Wire transfer will be fine.

If the buyer is okay with sending you and your bank checks (Wire os better), without having a title in had, Go for it. I have done most transactions on the side of the buyer and like a monky going from tree to tree, I dont let go of one rope until my hand is on the other.

Daze, I just know there is a nice 28 for sale in San Diego. Thought it was close enough.

If banks on each end are talking direct with each other, they normally have a moral trust as they are both bankers (FDIC) and deal with millions daily. I've done hundreds of Peterbilt truck transactions nationally that way.
