Well, if this board is like every other board I've been on - there are scouts. They may not realize they're scouts, but they are. They check out the situation. Next thing is all the "regulars" start testing the "newbie" to see what they're made of. If the newbie portrays themselves as a mechanical guy, the other mechanical guys test the new guys knowledge. If newbie pretends to be rich...they call him on it. There's a razzing and initiation and if/when you make it through, you're accepted.

Just what I've observed from other boards. I think it holds true here, which is why Mr. LPGA had a problem. But I must say...I personally have been through much worse initiations....not saying you should all pounce on me now...just observing.
