ever hide money , then forget where

A friend lost 2 20's one summer day. He almost got in a fight thinking the other person had stolen it. Later that day he found it while taking a crap. It was in his shorts.
Growing up, mom always said, "don't put money in your mouth". Yes, ma'am!
My dad said that when he dies I'm to go through all the boxes he has in his warehouse. He stashed 10's of thousands of dollars and forgot where. There are thousands of boxes in there. Is it my inheritance or a dead mans sick joke.
Of course, I'll look!

Don't bury it!
An friend of mine buried money in his yard for years. He didn't trust banks. He owned a rock pit and trucking company and made a lot of money, so who knows how much cash he hid.
As he needed money, he would dig it up. One day he dug up a wad and bugs had got into it and ate the money. It was all wrapped up in plastic but they still found a way in. It all was like old holy tissue paper. He showed me a few of the bills ($100's) and a lot of the serial numbers were gone.
Being as he didn't trust banks he wasn't going to take it there to see if they would replace it, not to mention the fact that he paid no taxes on that money.
I guess the feds got there taxes after all.

Had $4k in an envelope under center console of my car that I was saving up for engine mods. One day wife saw part of envelope sticking out, pulled it out and opened it and said wtf. At least it went into the new mancave fund that she was saving for.
