NautiKitty Hits the Century Mark

SOUNDS LIKE NAUTIKITTY WENT OVER THE CENTURY MARK TODAY ! Congradulations Kitty, like I said, I put my engines up "FOR SALE" so I can get bigger ones so I can out run your ass. Just kidding, hopefully taking the SeaRay to the Marathon races next weekend. Again, congrats. Hey, we got Scott's **** done today, almost 900hp, better get BIGGER drives.

Robert

Re: NautiKitty Hits the Century Mark

Thanks Robert. I'm still high as a kite after that ride. Finally it feels all worth it. I saw wicked won's engines today. They look suspiciously bigger, I don't know why? Sorry leopajm I am no longer the slowest 41 saber ever built. Have fun in marathon and talk to ya soon. NK :)

Re: NautiKitty Hits the Century Mark

BTW I heard 900 hp in 102 degree heat. Uh oh. The Chief will be running out nice this summer. See ya soon. NK

Fred,

you going to be ready for SOTW ??? looking forward to meeting you

Parn,

Man last december we were going 86 in the 6 footers with your boat

this year with that cold air and cold water maybe we can get that puppy to 110

You relize that the old date for smoke would have been this weekend ?>????

Cold but it is going to be a sunny day!!!!! :)

SOTW ONE MONH AWAY!!!!!

Re: NautiKitty Hits the Century Mark

WOW !!!! Congrats Parn, what a great feeling when all the effort pays off !

My stuff didn't change except trying to make them more "user friendly" with oil thermostats, bypass fuel regulators and other non fun stuff

Can't wait to see your's run ( and hoping I can hold ya off ) there is NOTHING as pretty as watching these things run at speed in a chop ;)

And for all you guys with step bottom bravo boats thinking , big deal... come spend an afternoon ( not 5 minutes) running with us in some real offshore conditions and you'll understand what these boats are all about.

BTW what are you turning them ?

YEA BABY!!!!!Parnel you the man!!!Go get em!!!

Primal Instinct 06-05-2004 07:04 AM

Re: NautiKitty Hits the Century Mark

We were running next to Parn right up until he took off like a raped ape! Nothing like a beautiful non-step, old-school V with the nose high and proud and a big badass #6 rooster tail!!!

Congrats again Parn, you broke the ceiling and raised the bar! :D

Like Fred said, this is going to cost me a bunch more money!!!

Re: NautiKitty Hits the Century Mark

Thanks guys.
JD 5800 rpm's. So far I have found, with help from a lot of people, 16 mph since I went out initially. It's amazing to me what little things can do. Although I won't keep up with the wicked won, I never really put the boat on a diet. I'm still adding glass to the front. No deck flexing in my future though. I feel like the setup is perfect now and when I'm done with my little cabin project I'm going to sit back for the rest of the summer and kill some fossils. :) NK

Come on windstorms, bring em on.

Re: NautiKitty Hits the Century Mark

[QUOTE=Too Old]Time to talk to my engine builder. There may still be time to look for a few more ponies. That's going to be damn hard to keep up with.

BTW The acceleration on my boat is excellent but nothing will ever compare to the sutphen. Hardest pulling boat I have ever ridden in. Hang on Fred. NK :)

Hey Parnell, going out today? Give me a call, I am boatless until Friday...long story. This is a big mile stone, hope to see you out this summer. It is an awsome day for boating so get out there and call me. :)

Parn,
Just my 2" spacer from Ga. so I can raise the "X" on the drives, now I just have to find the "right" set of wheels. Getting things painted this week, hopefully back in the water in a couple of weeks.

Oh yeah, and Scott's stuff sounded REEEAAALLL sweet!

DAMN Jim, you really call it like you see it! Maybe someday I'll be up there with the 41 and we can all go "playing" together. Now about those five blades...............

Saw Parnell on the hoist and Marc in the bay. Perfect day for once. Just perfect.

Re: NautiKitty Hits the Century Mark

If it was calm winds and flat water, that ain't no perfect day for Parn. He likes cold weather and windy conditions, I'm waiting for him to tell me that he's moving to Alaska for the summer.

Mitch,
you ever get your trailer straightened out? I was going to give you the number of Red Neck trailer supply (that ain't no joke), but it seemed everyone else was already in there.

Parnell, I thought you said you wanted to make sure the paint looked like it was going 100 mph because your boat never will! Now we need to repaint?

Congrats, dude!

MitchStellin 06-06-2004 11:33 AM

Re: NautiKitty Hits the Century Mark

Tonto, I am set on the trailer, it needs all 3 axles, the old ones are rusting, seems there is a hole in the top but not in the bottom so for 8 years they were rusting. At 230 per axle + labor I said do them all. These guys have been great, always helpful.

Re: NautiKitty Hits the Century Mark

Thanks everyone. Now bring on the rough stuff. Primal Instinct set a high water mark yesterday also, 96.7, with some dialing in left to do. 3000 lbs lighter is still gonna be a challenge to get over. Thanks to Matt and Julie at throttle up for the sweeeeeetest props around. Tom Hofsteter at cheif is the man. His motors are the bomb and his company and family are the best. Thanks dude. NK

BTW Mitch, bugs are hitting my boat so hard I might need a touchup soon. :)

nauti kitty. what kinda hp do your new motors make?

MitchStellin 06-06-2004 09:24 PM

Re: NautiKitty Hits the Century Mark

Parnell, I hear you went to Saugatuck, hooked up with Scary 45 and Paul at the cove, that 45 of Ricks is really nice...huge would describe it, a run south would have been more fun. East, west or north would have been fun. Fri she is home and I will be calling every weekend to see what you are up to. Never again will she travel so far from home, I could have used two axles to get in while I waited for the new ones. This sucks and I will never let a trailer keep me from the water again, it will be all new by Friday. New axles will take the guess work out of the dumb thing. Get ready though, I am. :)

Tell your girlfriends to put underwear on and that should take care of that problem. :D

Is it just me or did I see Parnell get beat by Primal Instinct right in front of my cottage? Hey mitchy did you finall;y get a boat again or is that someone else's in your av? The Thoroughbred is up for sale if any of you guys know of anyone looking for an 80+mph potato chip.

Congrats Parnell, You looked great at the Kirby Grill in that "pimpin outfit" celebrating the century. I'll be out again next weekend, and prob. up in Grand haven again. I had a blast at Hanky Pank Saturday.

Boatme: Good to finally see you on the water Marc, great looking Top Gun. Sounded sweet when you started up as well!!!! Later, Darren

Mad Hatter I'm just kidding. I got em this weekend but I don't think I eventually will in the smooth stuff. Course why would anyone want to boat when it's that calm anyway?

Tonto thanks for defending me but I have thrown a few at Heineken boy so I'm ready to take a little whipping, outside the bedroom, cause it's never gonna happen on the water :blaster: Oh sure Tommy Bahama can outdrink me but how does he get all those footprints off the back of his shirt the next morning?

Monday morning and I'm still jacked from a great weekend and my boat is still running perfect. Chief rules. NK

Thats Pimp Master P the triple digit dog. Sunday morning it was just a really bad headache. I 'm looking forward to seeing your boat. Talk to ya this weekend. NK

BTW Remember when you see Primal Instinct out pimping at the Kirby, he is no longer a double digit dude. :)
