Re: Drying the boat
It looks great Adam. I love the trailer I got with Monsoon as well. Triple 6K axles; so I could store two jetskis on top of Monsoon just for fun. However I wish I had an explaination as to why one of the spindles is already bent. Its on the middle axle too, which is really strange. I have a replacement on the way which was only $50, but switching it out is going to be a b1tch. I hope it is only a bent spindle causing my tire balding. I went through this on the last boat trailer.

Re: Drying the boat
Brian- Moonsoon looks great. Todd took good care of her. As for your trailer, just be glad it's not a ROCKET TRAILER !!!
The middle axle being bent has got me stumped. Maybe a question for "Hi Tech" on here. |
Re: Drying the boat
I use the blade to get the big stuff off and them use the Absorber drying skin
to finish up. i also use the towells after the blade sometimes. One thing I have noticed if ya use the towells . Do not use fabric softner or the dryer sheets,They want let it soak up as much water. if there is to much softner in them it will smear on the boat. The water softners they have out now that hook up to the hose helps on the water spots with hard water.Water spots suck.. Rob :) |
Re: Drying the boat
We use water blades on the flat areas and then take care of the rest with an Absorber or two.

Here is the best materiall to dry the boat in the hole world!!!. :D
It is smooth, takes a lot of water, oil and other stuff. if you have an oil spill in the engine room just take a couple of these and throw them under the engine it will suck up al of it in a swish. http://us.pampers.com/en_US/products.do?navstage=105 |
Re: Drying the boat
I use the water blade to get the big areas touch up with a towel. The blade cuts the time in half.

Re: Drying the boat
where do you get water blade?

Re: Drying the boat
I should correct myself , I don't use a real chamois, I use an absorber. We got tons of them here at work and they are awsome.

Re: Drying the boat
My daughter gave me one of those Mr. Clean AutoDry wash kits.
It works exactly as advertised. I use it on the boat too. The final rise dries very fast with no towels and no spots. |
