Forcast says 2-4's on Saturday...which really means 4-6'...goin to be iffy for me.

I always thought 2-4s meant 2-4s. Why don't they just say 4-6s if that's what they're going to be. Is it like in Jaws where they don't want anyone to know there's a shark in the water because they'll all go home?
