Yeah, I'm watching that too.
Storm track puts it passing behind my house. If it doesn't intensify I won't have to worry about puting up the storm shutters.
Trying to decide if I should leave the boat/trailer in the drive or put it in the front yard closer to the house (front of house faces East). If it's in the yard it'll be protected on three sides from the wind.

Gonna go get a generator today. Had a tropical storm go through two years ago and lost power for three and a half days. Sucked. Had to drive over 100 miles one way to rent one to save the food in the fridge and power the air pumps for the fish tanks, which thankfully we don't have now.
This is looking worse and worse by the hour. I'm only about 50 miles north of Charlotte Harbor which by Nick's plotting is ground zero. At least being on the north side of the storm, the tide surge won't be so bad as it would be on the south side of the storm. No matter what, Friday is gonna be a bad bad weather day.
