So sorry to hear of your loss, labs are great dogs and just give you their love unconditionally. About 13 yrs ago we lost a Yorkie suddenly, I saved a small amount of his hair that I found in his grooming brush. I still have it in a small box, and just the other day I looked at it, sort of weird but I held on to it even through two home moves. So save his leash and toys, they will remind you of all your great times together. Donna

I'm sorry for your loss of Buddy, its a very hard time to deal with. I agree with the others on saving his things. Hang in there.

Keep the avatar until you're ready to move on. We've only had Magnum for a couple of months and I can't imagine him not being around. Sorry to hear it.

Our Lab died in his sleep at age 11 April last year. In November we adopted a rescued German Shorthair who wears his collar and is walked with his lead.
Keep the collar and pass it on someday.

I'm sorry to hear that. I had to put my Husky down last year. Still get worked up when I see old pictures.
I have his old collar on the coathook that I keep the leash.
