. 50 bucks won't make or break a deal and you will get thousands worth of info here.

I think you'll like the Scarab. I was going back and forth between the 22 scarab and the Baja Hammer. Chose the Hammer b/c I like the graphics, interior, cuddy and the look of the boat better then I did the Scarab. I can sleep 2 in the cuddy, it's plenty big enough. I just happened to like the Baja more so there's my 2 cents.
I think you'll like the Scarab though....they are great boats and for the price, speed, etc...you just can't go wrong.

I have no personal experience with a Scarab 22, but I have ran with a few of them and they definitely run pretty good with a 454 mag. I have always liked the looks of them and they seem to be built well for the price.
I think what people are saying about the cuddy is with a narrow beam on a 22' boat it is very tight for sleeping. My previous boat had a cuddy and I only slept on it once and I hated it. Great for storage though or as YSS stated in a pinch.

PennyWiz I would say if you really want a cabin in about then you better look at some-other like a 24 to 25 foot. 20K will get you a decent scarab, baja, checkmate ect.
