This is opening up a can of worms,But we used to mix Propyleneoxide with Racing Gas in the Old Days for the"Open Fuel " Class of Snowmobile Drag Racing .This stuff mixed at3% to 5% might work in a Boat ,But it Has its Draw Backs ,Corrosive to Fuel Systems and it also Promotes Detonation.Let Me tell you When We run this stuff in a 1050cc Rotax It really woke it up.The downside is that it is hard in parts.Klotz Used to sell the stuff. Here is an interesting link http://members.aol.com/FHSoil/FHSbrochure.html

if you mix nitromethane with gasoline you will explode before you ever get the motor started, you better do A LOT of research on fuels before you start fooling with this stuff. A lot of the chemicals will knock you dead from the fumes, others will add to your chances of getting cancer ( even in VERY small doses ) and others cause KABOOMS to happen, both chemical reaction and motors.
If you are looking for a little boost, try klotz's coxoc...... it is DANGEROUS, do not breath it, or get it on your skin, but it will give you a little edge.

....and R/C fuel, as suggested above, is typically 20% nitromethane. Higher percentages are available, but once you get past 30%, they are much harder to find. Very few people that I know even use the 30% stuff in R/C's.
