Even if you pay 14 and it's only worth 10, thats still a hell of a lot less of a loss than you probably took buying your last car!!! Millions of people buy a $30,000 car new, actually pay $40,000 by the time they pay it off, and take a $20,000 dollar hit in depreciation plus the extra $10,000 in financing for a $30,000 total loss (just rough numbers here)- and your worried about paying a little extra for something you REALLY want??!! I figure I paid 5k more than I should have for my squadron 12, but I've only ever seen 3 for sale in 15 years and I really wanted it - still miles ahead of the guy who bought a new boat!! my .02, from a classics lover..........................
HT,

I hear ya, and if the $$$ was here, I'd probably own it already. Just as I closed on my refi, we got 2 hurricanes, ripping the shingles off of the house, and tearing down the fence, and then I am told I am getting laid off, No Boat for me right now. Sold the 71 Chevelle when I moved to Fl, and got into boating.

Brad,

Thanks for the offer, I am about to get laid off, and wont be able to purchase a boat right now, unless I find new employment SOON. I'll let you know if things change, and if you ever need anything in south Florida, Let me know.

Brad,
Give me a call anytime I am located off of Browns Bridge Rd (hwy 369) near the Fountain dealership. I am hoping to stir up some racers for the SOB class. I am building under the name Southern Offshore Boats. The lay up will depend on the intended use.

I will get some pictures this week and post them. I have just been so busy lately I have been running behind with the boat and will be pulling it hopefully this week from the mold. I have not yet made boat building my full time occupation and hope to once I can sell some of these things.

I am a new owner of a 87, 21 Cigarette with V8 Rude on bracket looking for info on them. Any info would be helpful. Searched the net and found this great forum. Did they ever build more than 12 or 6? Is there a way of telling what # boat was in the Vin?
