Latest Hurricane?

To all my friends in Florida,
GET OUT OF TOWN! This SOB is BIG! I've watching this thing all day. At 2pm it was moving 13mph WNW and was 395 miles from Miami, that means it will be knocking on your door tomorrow evening at 8pm.
To my friends here in Georgia,
I don't know if ya'll remember OPAL that came through here back in '95, but it did significant damage. If you have a boat floating at a marina, you might want to think about doubling all the docklines on your boat.

That thing looks like a bowling ball heading for the 5 pin.
Yup, if I were in South Florida, I think it would time to go. Maybe to Key West rather than going north.
Good luck folks. DJD, don't ya think you should get rid of some of the coconut so they don't turn into bullets?

there is a website http://www.hurricanecity.com that has info and a stream feed of news and press conferences if anyone is interested. I know in Martin Co they are instituting a mandatory curfew tomorrow at 8pm and also suspending the sale of alcohol there at that time too. They are also doing a partial evac of Martin Memorial Hospital North which is over by the river.
