You don't normally see electric brakes on boat trailers. I have disc surge brakes and the work real well.

Call Kodiak directly and go for their Disc/Surge setup. On my trailer with this setup, and pretty happy. I installed the first setup on my first trailer myself. Converted from 1 axle drum to 2 axle disc.

My install experience start to finish:

I had a new trailer built for my Top Gun and went with Electric/Hydraulic disc on all 3 axles. The first time I hit them I thought I was going to snap the ball off the hitch. I adjusted them down and love the fact that I can adjust them for the the different road or traffic conditions. I'll see if there is a manufacturers tag on it.

My brother runs a trailer/hitch shop here in cincy. We just did one on a triple axle trailer for a 33 Eliminator. They work really well.

call 877-542-1733 and ask for Brandon(only talk to him). He'll treay you right! Khadley here on the board was who he just did one for.
