When are you doing this? The ambassador bridge is to be shut down by a demonstration tomorrow for 2 hours in the afternoon, this should screw it up for at least 12- 24 hours after that.

Might want to do the Can way there and do ohio on the way back. Be sure to have a bill of sale with all appropriate info -- name, address, phne #, and sale price. I've gone both ways with engines--- always easier going to the states rather than bringing into can.

for 2.5 hours it might be quicker than going through the border these days -- especially Detroit--- never know what mood they are in.

Good luck.

Make up a bill of sale, that will work. Also they will open it, just plan on it. You can rewrap it after. This is a classic hiding spot. The bill of sale should read a Serial # of some sort. The security is at top level, you need to be 120% prepared. Good luck, the weather should be nice.

Going over the bridge at Port Huron, not Detroit. Should hit the bridge around 9:00 or so I'd think. Possibly earlier.

Port Huron will be better -- but will likely be more traffic with what's going on in Windsor. Mitch is right on with the serial #
