Damn, I started reading this thread, and wanted to say that may be the best looking boat I've ever seen, but by the time I got to the end, another Bravo fight broke out. :(

BTW
Thank God that 39 comes with seperated seats so you can't hear the "slow down" stuff... looks terrific.

Stu Jones of FPC once told me that broken bravo's are the #1 cause of members dropping out of his poker runs. I think WW is correct we should expect Mercury to raise the bar.

My wife put those there, she reviews all my posts.

She's the best, even when she told me she was due on the week of the Miami boat show she made it up by confirming we were getting another boy!!!

Ho yes JM she has dual citizenship Can/Am but was "Made in Canada".

Now JM be a dear and tell me how to ask her if she'll let me go to the show when she'll be 9 month pregnant? :drink: I already know I should wear an armor.

As far as running in a "lake" goes, I remember coming out of the Calumet River one evening in the dark and stareing at 6 to 8's on the way to Chicago. All we could do is about 2200 rpm's 'cause you couldn't see the waves to get a pattern and they were so close together. Remember that night NautiKitty? Something about stuffing a 50 Hustler or something earlier in the day?

I've also run in the ocean off Ft. Lauderdale in BIG water at night and never encountered anything like that lake was.

Yeah, let's get back to looking at some REALLY cool hardware. I like the fact that you can get the boat with either a center steer or right hand steer, that's thinking about what the customer might want. And think about the cost of tooling two separate cockpits, that's BIG bucks.

I know what the gest of WW's comments were about, and I can assure ya'll that he didn't mean ANY disrespect to anyone, only that it would be nice to a power package that would have the effiency of BRAVO's and be able to hold up behind a 10,000# boat would decent power. I know some of ya'll have had good luck with BRAVO's a BIG power, but I think that's the exception, not the rule. Hell, I blew three drives on a 382 FORMULA w/HP 500's, and I am extemely conservative the way I drive. BTW ya'll should see the "PILE" of BRAVO gear cases behind the shop at SPEEDMASTERS in DeLand, Fl.

OK, I'm done :drink: Cheers, heading to the boat for a nice fall ride.

Robert
