Do a search in the techincal forum for Oil Filter Study. EXCELLENT information.

Stay away from Fram.
#1 Wix Racing available at Napa as Napa Racing Filters

I'm using a Baldwin B1428 with Mobil 15w-50.
Does anyone know the difference between the Mobil M1-301 and
M1-302?

I wont touch a fram with a 100' pole. They come apart too easily.

Wicks filters and NAPA Wicks are the exact same thing, and NAPA is 7 compared to 12.

Come to think of it, I think mine is the M1-302. I don't have one handy to look at.

I use Ac Delco pf32 due to the fact that it allows almost one extra quart of oil to be carried in the system. Neves seen a problem caused by having more oil.
