After they fined Jr 25pts for this 'incident', Nascar handed down 12 more penalties for rule violation at Talladega. Roush Racing received 4 of them for unapproved adjustments to Biffle's rear spoiler, Biffle was penalized 25pt.
The disparity being that Biffle was docked his 25pts for violations that occurred during the race or that might have had affected performance levels and race outcome. While Jr was docked the same 25pts for a POST race incident that had NO affect on the outcome or his performance level while on the track.
Why take points off the board after a race is completed, especially when an incident did not affect the outcome of the race. Just slap them with a fine and put your little 5 or 10 sec delay in the post race events.
