I won't argue the medical system because quite frankly I don't know much about it.

What I do recall when I was at the 1000 Islands Poker Run, was headlines in the newspaper about how Canadian Hospitals were re-using hyperdermick needles more than once that were only designed for a one time use.
What's up with that?
I hope they put an end to that real quick...

I dunno. I guess the doctors figured it was okay to do so. What you did not see in the headlines was all the people going bankrupt due to high health care and drug costs. That is considered the norm in the U.S. under the current system.

I know a young hardworking fellow 28? without job health insurance who got cancer and was told the treatment would cost him over $200,000. Luckily he was Canadian and got on the first bus to Toronto for excellent treatment that cost him about $150 in hospital costs! I kid you not!

That is interesting. I go to Canada quite a bit: Montreal, Chicoutimi, Val Dor, Timmins, Toronto, Vancouver, Prince George, Surrey, Vernon, Kelowna, Campbell River, Nanaimo and too many other towns to list . I have met a great many Canadians and the majority of them I know who live close to the US come here for their health care. Interesting how you see it...I know many Canadians who have company health care that covers visits in the US (employeed by US corporation) who would STRONGLY disagree with you.

There are 3 sides to every story

I liked how Kerry talked about the "loopholes" that businesses have to take jobs overseas and how it is wrong and his "plan" would close them. Then why did his de-facto corporation HEINZ send a MAJORITY of there plants A.K.A. JOBS overseas? Just a LITTLE HYPOCRITICAL don't you think? Oh, and I loved how he said that Bush owned a lumber/timber company...Bush says " I DO? NEWS TO ME!" He can't even get his LIES STRIGHT!
