When time permits, I will get pic`s to show the two 540`s without any breathing room, yes they are against each other to say the least.

no way would the 29 ever fit big blocks, the twin 350's barely fit
I have a 98 29 with the single 502, I threw on an EMI exhaust with stainless risers and got a solid 62mph out of the boat
Not too many Pantera's out here on the West so it's hard to compare, I've been pretty happy with the 29 SCARAB, as I am sure most Pantera owners feel the same about theirs

Jo,
I think a Pantera is awesome boat, I would be all over Tims boat. The only thing I don't like is the cabin doors and the flip entrance. other then that I think they are awesome.

Pantera all the way, mine has room in the engine compartment. I know this because iam always dropping stuff in there. Runs in the 80's no promblem, and a comfortable ride no matter w/the condition. The cabin door is easy and always out of the way. Thanks DOMZ

If you are talking about Tim's, take it out for a ride. You WILL buy it. Trust me. That thing is just BADD. I was thinking about buying it myself but I would need to sell my Open Fisherman first. Still thinking about it though....
Domz,
That thing looks wicked !! Congrats...
