Jo, That is freaking awesome. I have wanted one of your boats since I saw one in the bay behind my house on Lake Erie. I remember asking what's a Pantera? I know now...no comparison, that's for sure.

I am sure the door quality is great, the problem for us is that we have a 4 year old that is in and out, in and out, in and out. You get the point. Our first boat had a similiar door that when open and we were running was always banging against the sides. Thats my only complaint. It is a matter of what you are used to. Our second boat (Baja) had the door that slid in front of the passenger, this kinda sucked because there was no place to put your feet and the radio was behind it when the door was open. Like I said, from what I have seen Pantera quality is A1, it was just an observation.

I would think that any single engined 27-29 boat is a better deal, easier to work on and less money spent. I have to take off the exhaust to change the plugs, what a pain. I have a 27 Excalibur (84) Wellcraft with a single and look forward to cutting the Scarabs ass in the spring... after the new surface drive

If this is the case then something is wrong... There is even a 95 Scarab with twin 350s listed on the Procharger docs that is in the 80's. 20k is a bit steap considering list price is $4900, sounds like someone may have been taken advantage of.

Unfortunately, duty@33%, shipping and installation make the cost go to 20k REALLY quick.

Very clean and nicely rigged boat!!! The speedo behind the bolster is a cool touch.
