If you want to go fast with bravos. I think trips are great. I have had a couple of 100+ mph 42's. One with bravos and one with 6's. A staggered bravo boat is a pain around the docks and you are very limited on HP. I had 950hp x 2. Would not recommend that. A triple boat spins well, handles better around the dock. And has a really nice set because of the extra wt. I think some people are over estimating the more maintenance, by not taking into account the addition power( maintenance) that a staggered boat need to run the same speed as a triple. also triple gets on plane a lot faster and accelerates ALOT faster. That being said I preferred the staggered #6 boat.

At the risk of getting severely flamed, I would like to point out the obvious:

I don't know what a Fountain with triples would cost, but I would guess you could buy a nice Top Gun for the same money.
No comparison in quality, resale or cool factor, in my opinion. Oh, and they are nearly the same lenth as far a running surface goes.
Just my .02
Flame away
