Also, keep in mind, you get the boat as collateral while the titlework is signed, notarized, and properly processed. Buyers who need financing have copies of titles faxed to their lending institution for verification.
WE KNOW WHAT WE"RE DOING.

WE ALL KNOW THIS IS AN UNFORTUNATE SITUATION FOR THE BANKS, EX-EMPLOYEES, and MORE IMPORTANTLY, MANY CUSTOMERS, SO IF YOU WERENT INVOLVED, TRY NOT TO MAKE THIS ANY MORE DIFFICULT FOR THOSE WHO IT DIRECTLY EFFECTED

No money has changed hands and the boat is sitting indoors in Ohio until some one steps up to the plate and pays at least half of what the boat is worth.

What was the offer if you dont mind me asking. hypothetically speaking, will $260k next week take the boat?

Well, I hope it all works out. I'm sure the "potential" owner is interested in hearing the news.
