This picture was taken at this same race. Freeport 1979 and shows ( 2 ) 28' Panteras and ( 1 ) 24 ' Pantera . One 28' was raced by my Father called Pantera , the other 28' was called Bad Temper , and the other 24' Pantera was called Slingshot.

P-124 were taken in 1980.

Here are some of my Aunt and Uncle, the one of Betty with the trophy is when she won the National's in 1978.

M-24 24' Pantera my Father set the Miami To New York outboard record with in 1978 and Night Moves owned by Billy Elswick at Lake X in 1978. It later became the base for Performer boats here in Ft. Lauderdale.

The other picture shows Betty Cooke in the Kaama race boat and My Father in M-24 going out the cut at the Pt. Pleasant Benihana race in 1978.

The 3rd picture shows Marshall Ives P-21 turning Macho a 24' Pantera at a Miami race in 1979.

Found this...it's from the '79 Benihana.(?) My dad's boat blew an engine the morning of the race so he went up in the helicopter instead and took this of your dad.

Those pics of the 24 "Pantera" just convinced me to put the stand up bolsters back in My 24, Jo, and Pepe, I switch to nightshift next week, so I will stop by for a visit over the next few weeks
