I don't get it either Troutly, but over the past couple years, I have seen at least 4 pre-release 'mules' in Reston, near Dulles Airport; including the Dodge Crossfire, Scion xB, PT Cruiser convertible, now the Mustang; all with manufacturer plates.

I think in 2 years you wont be able to swing a dead cat without
hitting one. They will be a dime a dozen and every guido with
