Cool, what are some good dates? Do more boats run in the begining or end of the season? Are any of the races bigger events that normal Thurs night races?
Is this APBA racing? Or truely backyard stuff?
Do these same boats race at any other locations?
Sounds too cool to pass up. What's the closest airport?

The races are every Thursday from Memorial Day thru Labor Day - 16 weeks. A good date would be any Thursday that is warm and sunny. The contestants are comprised of professional and weekend race enthusiast . Most of the time you see the same boats every week because it is a point system and the prizes are awarded at the end of the season. Milwaukee and O'Hare are about the same distance, but Milwaukee is easier. Waukeegan is the closest private airport.
