Good Vacation spots

Default Good Vacation spots

My friends and I are in the process of deciding where to go on vacation this comming memorial day. We're looking for a lake about a day's drive from Milwaukee, WI that has a decent campground and warmer water than us!! Last year we went to Lake of the Ozarks (Climax Springs area) and had a blast. The year before we went to Kentucky Lake/Lake barkley (Eddyville area) and it was ok but a little too quiet. We don't care about fishing or being in a quiet/peaceful campground, as we like to party and have a good time. My buddy is talking about going to Kentucky lake again only somewhere in Tennesee but I'm not quite sure yet. Any ideas??

Lake Cumberland, KY. Conley Bottom Resort, Indian Hills Resort, or State Dock. Pray for good weather.

lake norman in n.c. just above charlotte n.c. by then it is always rocking has many places to eat on it and a lot of water to cover

Grand Lake of the Cherokees in Oklahoma. Its a few hours farther than LOTO. Its WELL worth it. Just ask the TwinStepNun. Oh, I mean TwinStepGun.

Cumberland, go to Put-In-bay for X-mas in July We were there the weekend after last year, that place is out of control.

I think we'll try Lake Cumberland.. Where is the best campground? We'll have 3 motorhomes, 1 trailer, 1 truck camper, 2 tents, 4 boats, 12 adults, and 10 children which is why we don't want a "quiet" place because it won't be that way after we arrive.
