My (former) bro-in-law bought a new 69 Z28 with a DZ/302 engine. He blew it up within a month, what a dumb-a$$! I don't remember Z28's having the 427 as an option. It does look good, tho.

Sorry for the confusion. It was never a Z28. I would never cut up a Z car. This car started life as a $ 300 307 Camaro. I cut the floor from the fire wall to the tail lights and built a complete rear chassis, new floor and rocker panels. The car is all steel except for the rear deck lid which is glass. I had to stretch the rear quarters 6 inches to fit the rear tires which are 16 X 33 's . I built the tubs big enough to fit 17 X 34 funny car slicks. the car should be fun when I finish it. The rear end is a ford 9 inch braced pro stock style complete with strange axles and a strange spool.
