It is great to see you all coming out of the woodworks. Sometimes those first few posts are tough. Everybody thinks that "the next guy knows more or thinks he does". WRONG- Post what you think, what you feel, or just chime in where there is a topic that you would like to comment on. NO-ONE is an expert, I have seen even the best in the industry learn a couple from someone else.
It's funny, quite often at boat shows or public events I will get a person pass me at a great rate of speed and in the brief moment that they stop they say "Hi, my name is xxxx, I am a lurker on your site and love the site, nice to meet you". Before I even get a chance to say, "why don't you post" they have already taken off" What's up with that???
Great to see you all being active, that is what this is all about.

Ditto what Steve said , the more people that post the more interesting the site is. Just think if everyone was a lurker what would you lurkers have to lurk at
For those of you Lake Erie boaters, do you know about LEOPA. It's a great club with a lot of trips and poker runs plus they spend a lot of time on the islands
They had a really good poker run the last weekend in July, it was our first time (not even expensive) we definitely plan on attending this years run. They are having a big party on the 22nd of this month, so if anyone is interested in more info let me know and I will get it to you. Donna.
PS For those of you on Lake MI, COPS is also a really good group. Being from Chicago is not important we have members from all over Lake MI, I can get you info on that group as well.

Ms PatriYacht,
I'm not too familiar with LEOPA. I used to be a member of GLOPRA way back in the early 90's. You can send me some info on LEOPA, Donna.
Well Barb, glad to meet you. maybe we will meet up one day at Kelley's.
Tony.

I listed their web site below, it stands for Lake Erie offshore performance association. A lot of their activities originate out of the Toledo area. The website has not been updated with all of next years activities yet In addition to the 3 poker runs in June, July(the big one) and Sept. they have several overnight trips a season. With the exception of LEOPAJM, GlassDave, Madcow, and sometimes Wicked One, and Half Nutz they don't post here to often. Ian and I have only gone on a few outings but they seem to be a very well run and nice group. We plan on going to the change of watch party, Half Nutz (Dan) will be inducted as the new commodore for 2005.

We met Roger at the run, he even took a spin on our boat. If you can believe this we kept running into him at the bars in Key West
