Lurker, yes I am, But Ive learned so much about high performance boating and boats from everyone on this site..Ive been boating for about 30yrs, but just got into fast boats 2years ago with a Classic 16 Donzi powered by a 305v-8. I sold it after the wife admitted it scared her..boat to small and fast for our waters. But, this year I just bought a 24ft Superboat, with the 502 mpi. I cant wait to use it. I also am into antique boats and currently own a 1957 Helton runabout, molded mahagony. Its a piece of furniture I rarely take out. I work for an airline, as an inspector..I plan on lurking more in the future..

It's not to late to join in on the Winter chill-out in Richmond,Va. this month. A great place to meet people and socialize. See ya there.........
t500hps where do you live in Richmond? I'm in Chesterfield, near Pocohantas park.

Watching 'RIDE' right now. Show about the painter, Mike Lavallee. Just UNBELIEVABLE watching him work, just waving the air brush around like no idea what he's doing. FIRE, not your daddy's flame paint job.
Good interview with you on there also. Very Nice!

I love reading all the various posts and want to start taking a more active role in a few of them. I'm on here at least an hour a day. My passion has always been performance boats, and I have a biased towards the "older-styled" boats with the hard lines of the old cigs, apaches, sutphens, pantera, powerplay, etc....
I have a black on black 18 Donzi classic. The boat is ran primarily on Lake Minnetonka. Have gone through two engines and three drives, and am seriously considering dropping in a new factory Mercruiser coupled to an ASD #6. George Desmond's Donzi looks like the way to go! I will post some pics of it when I find some. I also captain 2 Cary 70s and a Cary 50 down here in s. fla. I loved reading some of the posts about the old Carys and Cobras and whatnot. I never get tired of looking at pics of the old Cobras and small Carys and flatdeck Cigs.
I see some of you guys boat down here in the Miami, N. Miami area all the time, and maybe now would stop and say "hi" to a fellow OSO'er!!

You live in the same city as OSO headquarters and never even stopped in to say hello. Come on by.

Definitely a lurker. I scan the forums several times per week and have learned a great deal from the posts. I have a 42 Fountain which we boat on Old Hickory Lake (Nashville). I'm 43 yrs old and grew up on this lake. Also spent 7 years in Baltimore boating on the Chesapeake. Planning to eventually build in Cape Coral, FL where we have a direct access lot (dock being built now after waiting a year for a permit !). My name is Mike and I'm in Medical Diagnostic sales.
