My name is Chris I currently do not own a boat because I just bought a new 3500 sq ft home. I live in Cincinnati and have been boating since I was a kid. My dad has a place on Lake Erie and I boat with friends in Cumberland and the Ohio river.

If any one knows of a good boat for sale please let me know, right know i can afford around $30,000 and would like something 25 feet or bigger. Preferably a cat but open to anything just to get on the water again.

Cord on this board has a nice 26' Firehawk cat for sale. I've got some seat time in this boat and all I can say is YES!! Great ride, runs upper 80's with the 540 in it, stand off box, etc... I think he's looking to get somewhere around $36,000 for it on a trailer... and I'm sure delivery could be arranged (we like road trips!!).

I think I've seen that boat before on this board thats a little more than I can afford right know. Unless what she dosen't know won't matter!!!!

Re: This thread is for all the NON POSTING LURKERS!!!

Dude, you don't want that boat.... you NEED that boat!!!!

If I were in the market for a smaller cat, it'd be on my short list... mostly because I've driven it in all sorts of water.... 3-4' on Lake Michigan, washing machine chop on Lake of the Ozarks, and flat as a board water also at LOTO. It's a friggen riot!! And the motor runs well too... and it's detailed to the max... pretty motor!!

Hello all. Name is John, and live in Paducah, KY. Have been boating for about 2 years at Kentucky Lake with a few other members of this board. I don't have helicopters or Hummers or Skaters, just a piddly ole Baja. Currently have a 99 Baja H2X, but it's taking a trip to Somerset next week to Alton Blakley to get a new home. I'll be bringing back an 05 25' Outlaw to start off a new season.

I work at a Uranium Enrichment Facility. The last one left in the United States. It's a crazy job, but it feeds the need

My name is Tom and I have a drink....I mean lurking problem. I live in Northern KY and have a 225BR Crownline with a Procharged 350Mag and a Stern Jack. This is my first boat and I am addicted. If all goes as planned my next one will be a Nordic. I am a traveling A&P mechanic for one of the fractional ownership companies (I fix private jets).
This is an AWESOME sight with fantastic members and the information I have picked up here is incredible. Thanks for the welcome.......and the uncensored section. :drink:

My name is Earl, but I will also answer to Gregg, I am in Orlando, I currently own a Stingray 220SX (a what???) but will be uptrading to a 27' or 29' Fountain come Jan. I am an Audio Engineer (mainly concert so I am kinda deaf) I am UNSANE because I have some "thrill issues" and have the past, present and future doctors' bills to prove it. (the limp is worth it in my book) I think this place is fricking cool! I will be upgrading soon and talking more. You are the kind of people that I want to be around so I hope I meet some of you soon. I am learning a lot here. I like to go fast. I like Steak, Chicken and Buffalo. I like Heineken. I like big fake boobies......even if they're both lefties!!!! :D

Hi, my name is Lindsay and everybody calls me Red. This is my first post here and I have owned three boats so far with my newest purchase a Baja 30 Outlaw named, Last Laugh. I guess I can blame my boating itis on my mother in law who said I would own a boat since I own a house on the lake. I also need to give credit to my father in law who gave me my first boat a 19' Crestliner. I live in Vermont the home of the green pastures and the cold winters and short summers. I boat on Lake Champlain and look forward to many Poker Runs now that I have something to keep up in. Thanks.

My name is Dave, but you guys can call me Woodsy, everyone else does. I am a 40yr old boozer with a boating problem. I blame my parents for this addiction, who for some odd reason (while I was growing up) always had some barely running POS boat that I thought I could fix up. One winter day during a snowstorm, while driving by Irwin Marine on Lake Winnipesaukee I found my first dreamboat... a red Donzi 18 Classic. A few margaritas later at Nothin' Fancy, the red Donzi was mine. There has been a steady progression of boats since then, a 97 Donzi 22 Classic (yellow), an 83 Donzi 22 Classic Outboard (rare, 1 of 1) and my current ride is a '00 Donzi 26ZX. I post over on Donzi.net alot. I also lurk here quite a bit.

Of course if they get a speed limit on Lake Winni all bets are off. It will be time to get one of those "fish" boats. You know the type, say a Donzi 26ZF with twin 250 Verados....

Hello all! My name is Chris and my wifes name is Angie. I have been lurking for quite some time. We live in Ypsilanti Michigan. Our first boat was a 1990 226 ES Baja, that we promplty wrecked in the Detroit river on some submerged "crap" Now we own a 1998 24 Outlaw SE. I enjoy reading everybodys post's and think everyone has a real good sense of humor. I have learned alot from everybody about boating, so thank you all! :drink:

Funny post ! and hail from another Winni boater. Alas I am also a 40+ (how much +, I won't say) boozer with a boating problem. I say that now 'cuz right now it's too cold to boat and just right for chillin beer (thus no booze problem but a large boating problem). Now come spring that order may be reversed :D Alas I've already gone to the darkside, having had the same experience w/parent's POS boats. I now have a small cruiser (yes, jest and heap large piles of dung upon me for I have sinned :D ) but I remind y'all that you will get old and married some day too  Nonetheless I do try to advocate for what's right and thus hopefully you won't have to buy that fish boat  :drink:

ps - care to guess how many seconds it'll take "APS" to try to spin this bit of fun into political "hay".

My name is John, from Syracuse New York. I've been boating my entire life and I owe the love of it to my parents hard work for having the means to afford a boat when the kids were young. Currently I have a Donzi 16 and a Donzi 22 which my brother and I both split. I boat mainly in the 1000 islands where I live in the summer. But I also boat in beautiful Skaneateles Lake where we keep our other donzi. I've been lurking and like Woodsy, I spend some time on Donzi.net and SW and have recently found OSO.......okay I'm gonna go back to lurking now-later!!

Re: This thread is for all the NON POSTING LURKERS!!!

I’m sort of glad that this is here. I really did not introduce me and my wife to this board. So here it goes in a nut shell. My name is Eugene, 43 and my wife’s name is Tanya, (younger than me :drink: ). We have been married for 7 years. We have 3 kids, 1 girl 14 (her’s from a previous marriage) and 2 boys, 4 (going on 5) and the youngest just turned 3. All 4 of them just love boating. I’m a Welding Eng for a Tier 1 automotive supplier here in Hopkinsville Ky and Tanya is a Sales Rep for Nabisco. We really love it here.

This is my second power boat, present boat is a 29’ Fountain. My “first love” was a used 1979 17’ Polar Kraft Jon boat with a 80 hp Mariner motor (I just sold it last fall :( ). I used the heck out of that boat! I bought it just to hunt out of, then me and my buddies started using it during the summer to SKI with it, that was a sight  :D … My first power boat was a 1992 240 FS Seebold Eagle. I really liked that boat :D ! My wife and I like to meet new people on the water and for everyone to have a GREAT time together :drink: , no matter what boat you have :D :D !!!! We both just enjoy this site so much. We have had a great time on here laughing and some sad. I do a lot more reading than posting in the Tech posts because my knowledge is not at the level that is present here and I was always taught that if you don’t know something, “just shut up and listen”.

Well that’s enough about us hope I did not bore you too much...

Regards,
Eugene

PS
This is for all you haters out there, "Long Live the Sub-Way thread"!!!! :p :D
