Those two sleds are completely different styles IMHO.
If you are looking for a lake racer go with the Yamaha as it doesn't have the suspension that you will get with the Ski doo Rev....If you are going trail riding buy the French machine!!

I can tell you that after putting 4000 miles on 2 different REV's, a 2003 600ho and a 2004 800ho renegade, there is no other trail sled. Nothin else out there that I have ridden, and I have ridden them all, comes close in ride comfort and trail handling. My 600 will run 105 to 108 and my 800 110 to 115 on a good day. The 136" renegade rides awsome in rough trails due to the extra length. It climbs hills and runs deep offtrail snow like a much longer tracked mountain sled and RER back up gear is the best there is on the market. Whack 162 studs in one and the acceleration on a hard pack will put butterflies in your belly too

P.S. Hey Mitch, hows the snow in MI?

Wow, those 800 will only do 115? I'd thought they were faster than that. My Yamaha 750 vmax 4 does 130.

Ya, but what would it run stock? 105 maybe?

The REV wasn't designed to be a lake racer sled. It is a trail sled. PERIOD. 115 on a bone stock 800cc twin in a trail sled ain't all that bad is it?

wanna run fast, buy a ne mach z 1000 and see 125 or better stock.
