Dear Jan,

Our records indicate that you are not a Speedwake Financial Supporter, have been a member since 09/05/2002 and have 6 posts to date.

We ask that you seriously consider becoming a Speedwake Supporter today. For as little as $25/year you can support Speedwake. Your support is not a membership fee because we offer valuable boating products such as: Apparel, Leak-Proof Caps, Stickers, Couple-Mates, Barz Goggles, Long Haul and Frenzy Boat Care Products or Filter Mags in return for your support. Or you can simply make a donation.

Now more than ever your Financial Support is important with numerous changes coming soon that will make your Speedwake Supporter Status invaluable. In addition we anticipate a price increase to the minimum amount necessary to obtain Financial Supporter Status, so now is your chance to save money!

Your financial support is vital to keeping Speedwake here to serve, help and entertain you and like any business, our goal is to take good care of those who support us.

Your purchase of $25 or more from any of the items listed below will give you Supporter Status for one full year. We look forward to you joining the ranks of Speedwake Financial Supporters.

I got an email as well. My guess is that the emails were sent because all of the stickies at the top were taken down. I'm a member of a bunch of different boating sites and they all have a different feel to them.

I personally don't like that site because of issues with the site owner/administrator and their poor business practices. Just my opinion...
