Good news,

He was gonna pass because he thought it didn't have a title.

Turns out it does have one and the make of boat says "cigarette"

He bought it.

He also joined OSO today...

Thanks for your help guys.

all depends on how that things laid up. If Don included his layup formula in the deal like he did for Banana boat's 24'er, it would probably be decently built, although all three 20' cigs I've looked closely at were done a little bit diff. My guess is that it's a lighter layup, but that would be good if your on a lake. If not best thing you can do is add a real full bulkhead behind the rear seat that goes from deck to keel, as even some of the cigs were apparently not done this way either. If you see no major fiberglass work around the drive area, then maybe the boat was an old merc alpha or pre-alpha drive, which would mean the swap was easy. If it was an old OMC or volvo drive which would have left a big hole, then cross your fingers on what kind of job was done. Not an expert, just my .02

Do you mean that particular boat or all boats back then because ive seen vin#'s from the 60's and 70's your boat should have had one , maybe it was refinished like mine
